Use the contact page to identify the URL, the exact statement and, where possible, the supporting primary source. Do not include sensitive personal information in a correction request.
How we evaluate it
Editorial staff compare the report with the published source trail and current primary evidence. We may correct, clarify, remove or retain a statement with an explanation, depending on the evidence.
Update record
When a material factual correction is made, we update the page’s reviewed date. We do not silently turn an uncertain claim into a certainty.
