Stop using the infrared or hybrid sauna before identifying it
On September 17, 2026, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a recall of about 41,580 Sauna360 infrared saunas, hybrid infrared saunas and infrared kits sold in the United States. CPSC says the infrared panels can short circuit and overheat, creating serious fire and burn hazards. The firm reported 67 incidents involving overheating, melting, charring or burning; no injuries had been reported in the recall notice. These are reported recall facts, not a prediction that every listed product will fail.
CPSC and Sauna360 instruct consumers to stop using the affected products immediately. Do not turn the sauna on for a test, remove an infrared panel, open a control enclosure or attempt electrical troubleshooting. Some installations may be hardwired, so do not improvise a disconnection; follow the manufacturer's registration instructions and use a qualified professional if electrical isolation is needed. If there is smoke, fire, unusual heat or immediate danger, leave the area and call 911 rather than approaching the unit to photograph a label.
Match the brand, series and model before using the serial number
The notice spans many product identities, including Finnleo IS, S and Sentinel models; Helo S models; Radiant Health Elite and Pause models; Sauna360 E models; Saunatec and Tylohelo B or S models; Tylo IG, Kiruna and Kiruna Hybrid models; and some unbranded S-series rooms. It also includes custom or semi-custom infrared and hybrid rooms using panels or controls identified as Carbonflex, Saunalogic, Infralogic, Aspire or Bliss. Do not rely on cabinet appearance or the seller name alone; compare the exact brand, series and model with the current CPSC table.
CPSC says a preconfigured room may show its identity on the front-frame badge, control panel, manual or logo handle. Depending on the unit, the serial number can be under the lower bench or on the wall below the upper bench. Photograph the full label without dismantling panels, and keep the purchase invoice, installation record and manual if available. For a custom room, preserve the control name and installer records because the affected item may be the installed infrared kit rather than a retail room model.
Register with Sauna360 for confirmation and professional repair

Sauna360 says owners who are unsure whether a product is impacted should use its identification process and register for the recall. Record the date, case number, product identifiers and written instructions; start from the CPSC notice or the official manufacturer site rather than an unsolicited message asking for personal information.
The published remedy is a free in-home repair performed by a professional installer. Do not purchase replacement parts, accept a do-it-yourself repair suggestion or resume use merely because a registration form was submitted. Ask Sauna360 to confirm that the exact serial is covered, who will schedule the installer, what work will be performed and what written closeout record will be provided. Remedy details can change, so the manufacturer's current case-specific instructions control the next step.
Check whether a separate bench recall also applies
On the same date, CPSC announced an expanded recall for certain Tylö Halmstad and Kiruna Hybrid sauna benches because the bench can collapse. That is a separate hazard and remedy from the infrared-panel fire recall. An owner should not assume that completing one repair closes the other issue. If the product name overlaps either notice, ask Sauna360 to check the serial against both recalls and document each applicable repair separately.
After the professional repair, retain the work order, repaired components, installer identity, completion date and any revised manual in the Project Passport. Report overheating, melting, charring, burning or other unsafe-product incidents through SaferProducts.gov once immediate safety is addressed; reporting an incident is separate from registering for the repair.
